My son

With my son away at college, I don't get to take as many pictures of him as I once did.  He is so glad.  When he was in high school I had my camera with me constantly.   So now he hates when I pick my camera up.

This was the weekend before Valentine's.  He came home to surprise me.  I was sick and felt miserable, so it was a great surprise.

Photo A Day - Feb. 13th Revisited

I found my camera.  Here are the pictures I took during my "walk".

This is the frozen Raisin River.

Photo A Day - Feb. 15th

I am embarrassed to show this picture.  My refrigerator is a mess.  I am going to clean it out this week and I will take another picture then, just to prove that it isn't always a mess.

Photo A Day - Feb. 14th

We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day.  I think you should show your love every day.  Today's theme is Love is…: It’s Valentine’s Day so show us what love means to you. Is it a heart, a person, a feeling?

I decided to take a picture of the Hershey Kiss that I gave me husband in honor of the day.

Photo A Day - Feb. 13th

The pictures I  took while "walking" are on my other camera.  I have misplaced it.  I am hoping it will show up soon.  As soon as I find it I will post the pictures.

I stopped on my way home from a doctor's appointment to take some pictures of the frozen Raisin River.  I did walk along the bank.  Other than that, that is all the walking I did.  Afterall, it is the middle of winter and freezing cold outside.

Photo A Day - Feb. 12th

Where You Eat Lunch?  When I am at home, I either eat at our kitchen countertop or in the living room while playing on the internet.  I snapped this shot of the Chicken Taco Soup that I tired this week.  You will also see my standard bottle of water with Mio added.

Photo A Day - Feb. 11th

Here is my front door.  It still has my Alabama wreath on it.  I will be changing it soon but I don't know what I am going to put on it yet.
This is the shot of my glass door with my Valentine's stickers on it.

This is the last picture for tonight.  I will try and get the others posted tomorrow.

Have a good night.

Photo A Day - Feb. 10th

3 o'clock on Sunday --- I wasn't feeling good on Sunday so I spent most of the day just relaxing.  This is my favorite chair.  The white pillow looking thing is my ice pack for my neck.  It is usually used alot when I have a bad migraine.  And I can't relax without my laptop.

Even feeling bad, it was a good day to just relax.

Photo A Day - Feb. 9th

Guilty pleasure - I probably have several but this is one that came to mind.  I have been trying to cut back on my chocolate candy.  We had so much left from Christmas.

Lindt Chocolate is a favorite.  I prefer the white chocolate ones.  This was part of a Christmas batch of candy.  I tried not to open the package, but after taking the picture.  I got into them.  They are gone now.

Photo A Day - Feb. 8th

I have some pictures on my camera but I think I am behind on some of them.  I am going to try and catch up tomorrow.  If I get every thing done on my to do list I will be doing good, but I have to start some where....lol

The 8th was something orange.  I didn't think this would be easy but I came up with a couple of things and I think I did pretty good.  I hope you like my choices.

The first is the football blanket from a few days ago.  As I said before, this blanket is very special to me.

These are the daisies on my craft table.  I have yellow, orange and pink ones.  I think they brighten the table a little.

I collect Boyd Bears.  This is one of them and I thought it was perfect for the orange theme.

Lastly, this is one of my go to ideas for lunch.  The package has some orange so I thought I would include it.

Photo A Day - Feb. 7th

Today was your name.  The ladies at work got me this keyring for my birthday so it was perfect for today.

Photo A Day - Feb. 6th

6. Soft: Take a photo of something deliciously soft.

With all of the nerve blocks and pain killers I have taken lots of  naps.  This is a picture of my favorite pillow and blanket.  The blanket was made by a good friends' Mother.  The friend was killed in an accident two years ago and the blanket always makes me think of the two of them.  I love them both dearly.

The back side of the blanket is orange so you will see it again.

Photo A Day - Feb. 5th

5. Something you smelled: What’s something you came across today that smelled {or smelt depending on where you live}. Take a photo of it.

Today at work we had Garlic Texas Toast.  It smelled and tasted wonderful.  I wish the smell would come through the computer.

Photo A Day - Feb. 4th

The 4th is Hope.  I had a couple of ideas but nothing came out.  So there is no picture for today.  Sorry

With this picture, I will be all caught up on posting my photo a day pictures.

3. Something beginning with ‘E’: Take a photo of something beginning with the letter E.

When I saw this, I knew exactly what I was going to do.  Eggs....

I hope you have a great week.

Photo A Day - Feb. 2nd

I didn't have a lot of time to look for a pattern so I hit my craftroom.  I have been working on Valentine's Day cards so there is paper all over the place.  This picture is one of the sheets of paper.

The picture isn't real good, but you will see the paper again on one of my Valentine's cards.

Photo A Day - Feb. 1st

Here is my fork for the day.  It is the fork section of my silverware drawer.

Photo A Day - Feb.

I skipped the 31 of January.  It was take a picture of yourself and I just didn't like any of the pictures.  Maybe next time.

Here is the list for February.  If you follow along make sure you leave me  comment so I can follow your pictures.  If you want to the link to the original post, click here.

Photo A Day - Day 30

I was suppose to take a picture of something looking down.  This was just one of those weeks, when I didn't feel great, but I didn't want to skip the pictures so I looked around and came up with the M&M dish.

I hope to get more creative with the pictures next month.

Photo A Day - Day 29

Day 29 is Grow.  So you are going to get another African Violet picture.  I would have done some different but it was just so cold this week that I didn't want to stay outside long.

Photo A Day - Day 28

28. Through: Take a photo of looking through something – through the window, through the gate, through the trees… whatever you please.

With the snow, I decided to look through the woods.  All you can see is the snow and the trees.  I think the picture turned out pretty good.  I hope you enjoy it.

Photo A Day - Day 27

It has been overcast and cloudy for days.  We have had rain and snow.  Finding the sun was impossible.  So you got the clouds.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.
